Hi,

here's the setup for the image I posted in this thread: http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=1619.0

I have slightly changed the seeds in the fractal, so the clouds will look different, but it's still the original setup. You'll get the idea. Make sure you post your attempts, so we can see what other nice skies you'll be able to make from that concept.

Frank

So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Thanks Frank.

Interesting indeed. I'll have to try some of the scaling settings in my existing clouds first to get a base for comparison but it looks really useful after just a quick play.

That's not stupid question at all. Open the File menu, and choose "insert clip file". Navigate to the file location on your hard drive and select it. Done.

Just a little update, as I ran into an issue that might have been discussed while my absence.

When looking at the attached picture you might notice some interrupted lighting in the sky. One on the left hand side and two starting on the right hand side. These were the triangulared render parts of TG2TP. Enviro and GI were turned off. I have seen that befor but thought that it was due to multiple suns I used ... but this render had only one sun.
The same thing happened without that tree, too.

That's a known bug and will go away with one of the next releases.

Nice image, by the way :-)
