Took the TG file from my Desert Storm scene, modified the colors of the rocks a bit, added some water and a waterline.

I love the character of your surface, in "Desert Storm", and here.

In this case now I'd make the white coast line thinner or better "less bright" color wise and maybe the water a bit less transparent.

Think both shown scenes here could benefit by doing this, but just in my personal imagination.

Here's another view.  I kept tweeking the displacement settings.  Getting more extreme overhangs and cutouts.

The water in my opinion could be improvements, but the texture and color of your rocks are superb !!!  :)

I agree.  I really don't like the water but I'm not sure where to go with it from here.  I'm having trouble getting the kind of ripples across the surface that I'm after.
