It makes me think the whole world can be described by fractals.
Here's what I did a couple of years ago to describe how it forms. (no TG used) That is an actual photograph used in the background. The scientists tell me the volume of ice under ground is really that much in some places. The ice wedges grow like a tree. They start forming in crack from the ground freezing. They grow for centuries.
I think this pattern is like the dry mud in a desert scene. Can you see the voroni coming in handy here?
The ponds in the middle of the cells are real too.
You see now why soils thawing in the Arctic an change things dramatically.
