Hello,

I just discovered that there is absolutely no problem whats so ever, with saving posed objects from maya2014, and importing them into TG-3!
Don't know about textures on a posed object, because I did not make any. But this is very happy news for me!

Now I can spend time making hair, instead of screwing with problem solving.

Really very happy about this!

I drink to that (and many other things)  ;D

Were you anticipating problems in this area?

TheBadger

Yes.
I had forgotten something I learned a long time ago. And I always anticipate problems now :-\

I was just real happy that there was nothing special about the workflow. Its completely straight forward and easy, for once ;D

I find anything that is .obj or can be loaded into PoseRay can be loaded into TG2_3 loads fine post PoseRay...I often bring in one of a few "scale" Poser/DAZ models I have to see what's happening in the scale world when using autos and buildings in the same scene. Were I a pro Poser/DAZ user I might even keep them in the scene but they're mostly just the lo-res freebies in default poses, sitting, standing etc.
something borrowed,
