No colour in the hole?

Hallo!

Can anybody tell me why there is no colour from the surface layer in the hole made from a simple shape shader?

It is because you have Apply Colour checked in your Simple Shape shader. You have it set to white. If you uncheck Apply Colour the hole will have the colour of the rest of the terrain.
