Hi All !
Haven't done much Terragen in the last year and always the same story....too much work ! Over the past month have been sorting out all my files and getting things in order to start doing stuff more regularly ! This is the start of my Alpine Ridge Project and have some tweaks to do and some mood to insert in. The terrain is a standard Alpine Fractal, all displacements PowerFractals. The base grass is from DandelO...his beautiful PGS ! Thanks ! The other veggies are mostly from the XFrogs collection except for the grasses that are the ND collection (and probably from Walli through NWDA I believe...and please correct me if not !)
Not sure about the flowers in the front and you tell me if they belong there !!!
Thanks for all suggestions !

This is still a WIP and the foreground trees did not look good I think as the one on the right looked like a Christmas tree with ornaments so decided to put in different trees i.e.. XFrog White Firs instead of Grand Firs.
Thanks for viewing !

A very promising WIP! This captures well one of my favorite types of terrain: high alpine meadows. I think the flowers are a bit too "cartoon" colored, too saturated or too purely Yellow, Red, etc. (adding slightly "off" colors, e.g. a bit of red or green to the yellow, just a tiny bit, can help). The new trees are also an improvement, definitely. Overall looking very good, and curious to see where you go with it. Some light clouds? A sunrise perhaps?

Agree with Oshyan, you've got some great things going on here Paul.

I thought the same thing (Grand Fir). I even dug into the child nodes to see if I could mask out the cone shader (CL02a_Fruit), but the results were questionable.

Nice render, though!
