Bonjour, je chercherais à faire une animations de cascade et en plus des nuages, et du vent.
Sachant que le temps d'un seul rendu dure 2.58 sec.

Je cherche à avoir une animation bien détailler et plus rapide.

J'ai mis :

Detail : 0.8
AA : 3
Ray trace objects
et
Customise sampling.
1/64 first sample et pixel noise à 2.

Hello, I would want to create an animation of a waterfall, clouds and wind.
The render time lasts 2'58.

I want to obtain an animation with many details and faster.

I put  the following settings.

Detail: 0.8
AA: 3
Ray Trace objects
and
Customise sampling.
1/64 first sample and pixel noise 2.

Beside I don't know your final resolution and other details, you could try to start to tweak for some acceptable output with that (works 800xXXX - up to full HD):

Detail 0.5
AA 6
Defer atmo on
atmo samples 12 (atmo jitter 1)
No! costumized sampling for the beginning
Microvertex jitter off
Detail jitter off
Raytrace shadows on
Raytrace objects off (if no objects)
Anti-aliasing bloom off
Detail blending 0.5
Displacement filter 1
softclip effect off
contrast off
Ray detail region padding 0.5-1
sunlight 2-2.5 (you have to tweak the atmo haze and stuff settings))
Enviro light / strength in atmosphere off (0) safes rendertime, fake light that with the tweaks in atmophere tab

Ray detail in motion off (subdiv. settings)
Ray detail multiplier 0.7
fully adaptive on/off, your choice, test both (hit animation check button before testing both manually)

clouds quality 1, jitter 1
acceleration optimal

GI settings:
2/4/8
Supersample prepass on
GI prepass padding off
GISD 1/1/24

* I forgot: Catmull-Rom pixel filter

Good luck !

I forgot to say that you, depending on your scene (close up e.g.?), could try to use 3D Motion Blur which is
actually doing an awesome job! It looks great, especially compared to the 2D motion blur.

And it feels it didn't add that much render time but in this point I'm not sure..

Hi Bastien,

First off I'd suggest you go through the Animation Module guide so you're familiar with the basics:

Here's something which might get you started with animating clouds:

http://www.planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,16065.0.html

The basic idea is that you can animate a transform shader to move a shader through space and you can also animate different parameters of the shader to give variation over time.

If you do a Google search for "Terragen animating clouds" you can turn up useful information.
