I think the top one has a lot of potential, especially if you consider how nicely the rock shading contrasts with the snow and the lighting is just almost perfect. Good atmosphere too btw.

I'd like to take this a step further if you feel up to sharing it in the sharing section?

why not ?
I used ter file and some bmp file as a mask shader...
it will be done as soon as possible...
