Is there a way to rotate the texture applied to the side of the log?

PabloMack

Try loading the object into your modeler program and resave it.

That's where it came from C4d to PoseRay to TG. It was rotated correctly in Cinema4D and in PoseRay.

I believe there is, but I don't remember the discussion here in the forums on that exact question. I might be remembering wrong. Anyway, if its an object we are talking about you really DO NOt want to go about things that way. The model should be correct to start.

But your OP is not very clear. Please clarify your problem.

You have an object you made, or found. THe object is a C4d model. (what extension is it in the first place? A native C4d FIle type) If its a C4d file this is why you needed to run it through pose ray? And what are you trying to load into TG? I presume a .OBJ? Correct?

I take it you do not have c4D, and cannot save out a .obj from there?

YOu posted a .TGD but no object file, so we can't look at it to see what the problem is. The problem would not be your TGD, just the object.

It has been eaten.

The obj file out of Cinema4D is not correct, so I outputted a .3DS file which entered into PoseRay and was exported as a .OBJ File. The .3DS file was viewed with Lynx and it is ok. The output file from PoseRay looked ok.

obj, mtl and 3DS files are not allowed to be uploaded.

If there is an easier way I'd really like to know it. I would like to use TG as my scenery for a rather large project.

Please ignore this topic. The problem was not in Terragen. I have isolated the problem to 'operator (me) error'. A very basic step I did not do in C4D caused all the problems.
