This is undoubtedly one of the best time lapse short films I've seen. It starts out a bit slow perhaps, but it works well in the context of the whole so I recommend watching it all. Around half-way through begins the crazy cloud and sky stuff and it's just incredible from there until the end. But as a whole piece it really holds together in my opinion, it just requires a tiny bit of patience at first.

Watching this with headphones on with a big screen makes me want to dig a burrow and hide. I can now relate to being a prairie dog. Someone had some sophisticated programmable sliders and motion control jibs. I don't know how some of these were done with time lapse.

Beautiful. I really enjoyed the beginning, too, though the cloud footage is also something to see. I wonder how this is done (equipment and mechanics).

Some fantastic shots. I saw this a few months back.

Last July, I spent two weeks travelling around 4 locations in the US to make a boarding video for American Airlines. We spent 3 days at Grand Tetons (the snow peeked mountains at the begining of the linked vimeo) recording timelapse and slo-mo . It's a stunning place.

Those time lapse shots look as if they are using a portable motorised rail. Quite probably a Dynamic Perception rig.
