After a week of learning Terragen, here is a still image from a ten second fly through for an internal project at our studio. Birds, snow, and low level atmospherics were made in Cinema 4D, and composited in After effects. I'm really liking the multipass system!

We've come a long way from not know how to move around in Terragen, and I'm excited to keep learning more about this tool.

Wow, that looks promising! Please show your animation!

zaxxon

Me too! Love to see this in motion. Is that a particle system with snow in the air?

heriosan

Thanks everyone! We're in the rendering stage right now, this is just a single style frame I've built as look development. Everything should be done by next Friday, I'll post the full animation when it's done.

Snow is done with a turbulence FD simulation driving the particles, and using that sim for blowing clouds through the notch. I still have to run more sims to fill in all the spaces, especially in the valley

Thats great to hear! looking forward to seeing it!
