Something I'm putting together for Dorian.

Very nice. Love the detail of the yellowish leaves on the ground. Since it is a summer looking picture then I guess we not talking about leaves....but then what it is...

Yes, we have to figure out what to do with those leaves (they are leaves), either remove them or make the forest more fall like.

Since they looks great, I would make the rest of the trees "fall"

Nice Ulco, this forest is going to be cool. Hadn't thought about the leaves, but good point. I think if it's not much work to do, I would have some trees with fall colors, others can still stay green, and still others can be a little thinned out with leaves; and also do 10%-20% less leaves on the ground. Thin up the rocks just a little (10%). Sunrays through the mist would definitely be cool. Really, really nice work!

The mist is very evocative, it creates a moodiness that I like. The golden leaves are a curious compositional juxtaposition, but it sounds like that is going to change. Are the leaves a texture map or scattered objects? So many elements to the scene are really lovely, I'm looking forward to next image.

It's an old pre-Roman road cutting through the hills of Sardinia. The basalt rocks look real and the lichen too;D

If those leaves are from the year before, could they be made with more brown? I love them.

I'll do some changes, like you prefer, Dorian, so it's more in balance. No problem. Already reduced the rocks. The leaves are just a photo I took a mile down the road, straight down, made into a tile; fallen beech leaves. But some scattered leaves on top could enhance that. Russ, good point about the hue!

Another one. I let the leaves fall off a bit (by worldscale PF) and added some fall rotting spots to the ferns.

I feel only it needs more color variation.
