About an hours work.  Terrain and masks created in WC.  Added strata, a small lateral displacement and my soft voronoi cracks.  Needs a lot more work but I thought I show this for those dithering over WC.  Found WC fast and easy to work with once I sorted out mask export.

I must admit I found World Creator much easier to use than GeoControl the new UI just suits me better.

These mountains look too rugged for me. Unless it's an atmosphereless world with no erosion going on.

Yossam, I bought the standard version which has all the frills but none of the extreme costs of commercial use.

N-drju, atmospheric erosion causes rugged rocks - wind, rain, ice and heat.  Sedimentary rocks in particular are prone to all of these.  Do a Google search, there are hundreds of images of rocks like these.
