Detail of 3 is quite unnecessary. If you max it to 0.8 you'll be fine for most renders.

You wrote you set Detail to 3? 3.0? This is insanely high. For a beauty render normally 1.0 is enough. Maybe there are very rare exceptions where you may go a little higher, but remember even an increase of 0.1 units has a big impact on rendertimes.

Thanks man. Much appreciated. I can already feel that vibe in here Just going through old threads and reading up on them has helped me so much. Maybe I should read up some threads on optimizing render settings.
