Haven't posted in a while....I know it needs more work, maybe a few more different trees and plants. I want to do a traditional mountain, trees, plants type image but, its hard to get started....space art is still my passion. Only postwork was level adjustments and slight sharpen in PSP7. Comments/critiques mean a lot to me....

Superb start. I really like the distance and interesting cloud formations. Is that procedural? But I assume you also want some criticism?
1. I would change the position of the small planet to a less eyecatching place, perhaps just outside the large one. More subtle.
2. I would add more displacement/interest to the ground, like stones or dirt, or scratched rock. Maybe huge flat rocks (voronoi), with grasses and shrubs in the cracks.
3. I would reduce size of the grasses if it's to be a 'normal' landscape in front, and indeed add more variety and density. Patchy perhaps.

I really like the moons. Looks great just the way it is.

It looks to me like this is a super wide angle shot. So that would explain the stretching at the top, as with the star.
Why not re shoot the scene in a more traditional camera setting (35mm- less then 50mm), and do a pano of a non traditional aspect Ratio. So not just one pan horizontal, but three horizontal pans.. the center and one upper and one lower (at least).

Seems to me that your images cant really be fully enjoyed as "standard" images/aspect ratios. They would get a galactic sized bump in impact, if you could show them more like they would feel in person. An 8x10 is for a family portrait. Not the face of the heavens.
