Is it possible? if so, could someone show me how

Kadri

I will use kinda a same effect-if i understand you right-in my well animation.
Haven't tried it yet but you have to cheat i think.
It depends on what kind of effect you are after and the look of your scene.
You will have to use careful placed displacement on the object basically.

Can not say much more then this until i know exactly what you are after.

The effect of a twist and shear shader.

Powerfractal displacement is easy but i tried just a little
and don't like the way the twist and shear interacts with the displaceable objects.

I got some displacement when i used a surface shader in the object with the
twist and shear shader connected to the input and the child input at the same time.
But that was more ripping the object apart.
I have no time for experimenting more unfortunately.
Help from more experienced friends here with this nodes might be good.
Haven't looked at the docs by the way...

Thanks for trying Kadri - I just don't think it is possible - I'll use the rock object instead.
