Nice job!  These images are pretty creative.  I really like the colors in the second one.  There are some odd reflections in the first one, though....

The light source is a massive point-light between the moon and the earth. Thankyou very much for your comments.

The weird reflection in the eruption image is weird indeed, I think it's a bug.

Those clouds on the first image look really nice for some reason.  They just look alive.

I like that glazy morning mist look on that second image.
