Plenty to work on on this one, might think about putting a lighthouse and other objects on the Island, maybe some sail boats scattered around too. I managed to find some reasonably good quality DEM's of NZ so I am setting about attempting recreations of the places I see a lot.

I really like this scene! Very nice. ;)
The only thing that sticks out too much is the huge cloudscape in the middle of the picture. For me is just not fitting there like this... ???
Otherwise you inspired me to do something similar :)

Aotearoa  ;)

I like the land, but the cloud needs work indeed.

Sorry for the bump, but finally managed to finish this to a stage I am happy with.

fantastic !
My only concern will be the grass part. You could do just a subtle color correct on it, maybe a lightness, hue, saturation tweaks.
But this is a detail. You did a great job on this.

I would love to see higher resolution on setup like this.

Wow, this is nice.  You really nailed the clouds.

What an improvement! Marvelous scene now!
Mouthwash? We don't need no stinking mouthwash!! [MI2]

Thanks for the kind comments - agree about the grass, I actually did adjust the colors but couldn't strike anything that I really liked. That whole island could have a few more details added, but I'm happy enough to leave as it is.

Excellent results, the only thing I that sticks out slightly to me is the sharpness of distant land mass and the objects, I think they look a tad sharp for elements that are far from the camera. In my opinion sharpness somewhere inbetween the previous and this render would be ideal. I think you have the colours, vegetation and water spot on, actually it very much reminds me of the coasts of northern Queensland Australia.  :)

Wow - both are great, but the second seals it... the clouds look quite photoreal :)
