What are the limits of resolution in TG VS 35mm film?

I very much like what you wrote, Doug, Matt and Michael. Very interesting. The main thing I wanted to express is that I don't think one would strive for photographic tricks to make a render 'real'. Like the vignette, light spot stuff and such. Though some kind of DOF would be part of our visual 'reality', in fact it's even worse; you'd have to make all hazy/unsharp and just one spot sharp! And the edges of a render should be in greys  ;)

^^ No. Rather you send your TG render through a real lens that has all of those problems, then you print the resulting exposure.  ;D
