I got a game running today that actually worked the way it is supposed to. No dizziness, no hang over after.
Its really FREAKING great. Now I have no doubts about it at all.
Its interesting too, because I was running at only 60FPS most of the time. 75fps must be heaven.
The game I tried is called "Crystal Rift". I have downloaded many more, but have not gotten to most yet. Not all games are made by people who have a clue what they are doing, it feels. But some of them are just awesome. Anyway, it takes some effort to get almost any of them to play.
One thing that looks pretty clear to me right now, is that so far, brightness has a lot to to with comfort. Darker games work and feel much better to/for me.
P.S.
This horror stuff on the rift really really works. I screamed like a little bi&$h. A real horror production from one of the great directors would probably kill someone by heart attack. I don't know at all why people think its so much fun to be put on edge like this and then tormented by anticipation.
