Road in progress

Thought I'd share something I've been tinkering with. Biggest thing I still need to fix is the side of the road. Other than that it's coming along to my satisfaction. Let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy it.

Road is a texture from cgtextures. Plants are Xfrog models and the road markers are simple models made in Blender. No post work, straight out of TG3.

use a softer edge mask for the road and plant some vegetation and add some fake stones etc... this will make it look less obvious imho...
maybe also add some procedural texture to the road too... looks too much like a projected image map at present... apart from that I love the wide view!

Pretty great I think. Looks for the most part like a real photo  The side of the road is indeed in need of some more time. But the road is way to low res I think. I mean its a great render and scene, but the road gave it away even before I looked at the side of the road.

The hills and everything are super nice. Clouds look great too, but there is a little noise.

Really fun and nice post! Thanks for that. I at first thought the thumbnail was a photo, and you may try to trick us into thinking it was a render  So pretty good work

I don't remember seeing you before, in that case; this a great render. I agree what has been said, a little (extra) procedural noise to the road may improve it. I really like the ground texture in the distance!

Without reading the post I clicked on the thumbnail expecting a reference photo. Then I realized this was a rendered image. Very impressive! Love the tire/oil marks in that left lane.

Thank you everyone for the feed back everyone. For the record, no comment was taking harshly. Feedback and criticism  is always needed. And in all honesty, without you folks on the forum here, I would have never made it this far. Off I go to improve the road. Thanks!
