Hello folks!

Ok, here we go:
Defer atmo = on, Atmo samples =64, grain = YES 

Gripen and Lighthouse found for free on the internet.

Surprising there is still grain with 64 atmo samples and Defer Atmo. What are your AA settings?

Free version here, so AA = 4

Ah, so that helps explain a bit I suppose. 4 is fairly low. One thing you could try is Max Samples (customize AA). It will increase render time but should improve quality. This seems like a particularly demanding scene for some reason...

Max samples really seems to reduce the noise, though render times got bigger. Not a problem at all 

Added some smoke trails and slight contrast in PS.

I personally would keep the grain and change the Gripen to old biplanes ... then the image noise is even obligatory
