Hi
Now that I know import a true ground relief with your help, I wonder if it is possible to increase the number of polygons to get a better definition for rendering.
Would it be better for me to increase the number of polygons on Mudbox (or other software) before import into Terragen 3 or it's possible to do directly with the Terragen 3.
thank you
Hoping all compliant

Terragen is not a modeling program. You can use something like Blender or Wings3D (both free) to modify the geometry. Other good programs (for purchase) are Lightwave, Modo, 3DSMax, Cinema4D etc.

Thank's  PabloMack
So I have to increase the number of polygons with one of these programs (I used Mudbox is a extention of Max) and then convert the files into BMP or TIFF with PhotoShop or World Machine if I understand well?

If you are importing actual geometry that has to be adjusted outside TG but if you are using a heightfield, either a .ter or one from an image map, there is Resize heightfield  at the Add Operator drop down arrow. I think Re-sample pixels is what you'd want t play with...never tried but recall reading about this.

Thank's bobbystahr.
Do I also resize vertically so if the problem I encounter is also located at the height of my terrain?

I thin that mainly applies to when you are resizing with the meter switch not the point spacing
