mail model is done in rhinoceros and exported in obj format
i have 2 question
1. wneh i import the obj file into terragen i cant find layers of main model to assign different materials.
2. i want to attach my model to the base planet.
please see the attached image.
thanks :)

Look in the directory where your model is exported to. Is there a .mtl file? If not, then material groups/assignments are not being exported from Rhino. You need to make sure that happens first. Terragen should automatically recognize a .mtl file for your object (if it exists) and create "Part Shader" nodes to correspond to each material. If you go into the internal network of the object loader node, you should be able to see and edit these material nodes (the Part Shaders).

There is no way to "attach" a model to the planet, but if you simply want it to be dropped to the surface height of the terrain, select it in the 3D Preview and press D (drop). *If* your object's anchor point is positioned at the base of the object, then this will work. If not, then it may "embed" the object in your terrain, in which case you would need to manually position it by selecting it and using the Translate/Move controls in the 3D Preview.

If this is the only terrain (or one of just a few) you want 'incorporated' in the planet, it's way better to use a painted image mask, or in case of more intricate details, such as overhangs; a vector displacement map. You can work with maps and textures on one planet, which is much easier.

thanks :)
i exported again with material definition, so the mtl file was created and now i can use layers with their names, its perfect. thanks again.
now i want to know, how can i erase the sharp lines between layers. i marked them on the attached image.
this is so unrealistic, is there way to create some trees or grass or noise to attached them together?
i guess its most important part of this project.

You can use TG's grass patch object to populate your shape, this will blend the edges.  Trees can be imported either as individual objects or populations through the objects tab.
