I really like the POV, looking downward into the valley below!

TheBadger

It has been eaten.

Hannes

Beautiful! Especially the foreground.

Dune

Great scene. The rocka and tree are terrific. What about translucency of the grass? Maybe lower it a bit and add some more color variation, or different species.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

And yes, Dune, I often think of many of those suggestions as well and there are reasons why I do not develop the detail in my images to a very high extent.  Those reasons will become obvious later.  Suffice to say, I have far too many scenes to develop to put a 'photo real' amount of detail in them.  But also, the media that I am developing for does not require a 'photo real' level of detail.  This is why I go for moody, atmospheric images and concentrate more on composition, colour, and light which oftentimes can stand alone while simultaneously be quicker to develop.  Think of me as the 'Monet' of Terragen.   ;)

Still, I appreciate the feedback, and do attempt to work in those little extras if I get some time.  Sometimes, I get stuck on the next image, and will come back to an older one and refine it some.

Anyway, here's the same image with a bit of post (which does give the grass some variation, BTW).   :)

Dune

It does indeed, also takes out the even lightness of the grass pop and gives the scene an artistic mood.
