As the title says I was playing around with a PF terrain and found it was too good to not use so I dug into my freestuff and arranged the stuff. Wheat field done with an un readme'd file so I can't credit it. Trees XFROG freebies, Walli grass. The barn is ubiquitous online and the farm house was from sharecg. I've had the John Deere since Imagine3D days so no idea of it's provinence, the hay rack sharecg I think as were the round and rectangular hay bales. The driver is the semi driver I got in a game model but he sold his rig and bought the, er a, farm. That's his old beater ford we've all run into.

The colors a nice in this one Bobby. :)
Now put some dirt on your models to get rid of that well groomed look
and you're there.

I agree re: the dirt...was too hot to do more than assemble after I'd lucked out terrain manipulating. Still is matter a fact. I'll come back to it in the dark hours.

gonna be hot all week, Bobby. Guess you'll have a new portfolio by saturday :)
It has been eaten.

Nice setup Bobby. Jochen is right. DIRT! And the barn entrance is floating.

DocCharly65

Really nice Idea. For this setup it is worth to take some time.

mhaze

I just managed to get Imagine 3D installed, at least Ver 2.0 (was up to 2.19) but am missing a dll for 2.19. Well at least I'll be able to model when I remember what everything does in it. It's been 2 years now I haven't had it....may be a bit MIA in the next wee while render wise.

***********************D'oh EDIT**************************
turns out the dll needed came in the Ver. 2.0 install and lives in the Imagine dir. I simply pasted the last update over the 2.0 and have my program back. Took me 2 years in Terragen world to figure that out....sigh.

Really great! I'll take the dirt theme a step further and maybe say add some mud puddles. Haven't seen too many farms without a few mud puddles from the tractors :-)

O K...not perfect but t'was but a Sunday doodle that got out of hand. I'm calling this done.....for now; maybe in a year ....

Well, for next year then: the ivy branches are (very) red, and the roof textures are sometimes a bit off scale. Perhaps some more and diverser grass... but you dirtied it allright!

Hannes

Oh yes, quite red!! And the dirt on the truck looks enourmously smelly, if you know what I mean.
The revenge of the cows, so to speak...

DocCharly65

What a pity with that red branches...
But some nice improvements...

The red, to my colour blind eyes, was deep brown. Couldn't find the map and got lazy at that point...maybe a bit bored as well. re: grass varieties...that's it for the free version. I have the incense cedar pop, the wheat pop and finally the grass pop...
I could maybe do this in Ver 2 and get more pops, but from experience I'd have to start from scratch. I could at least save the models as .tgo so I wouldn't have to texture them for the class and chrome.
