Looks much better Doc.
Still i would try the sun in different positions.
I feel as there is not enough contrast-shadow in the image.Subjective of course.

Last image turned out quite well!

I wanted to pick this until '2020' as a surprise but I have a little concerns about the copyright.
...though I designed all as easily recognizable homage and parody...
If I start animating this now and I get trouble with a very special film studio I would cry!

What do you say - is it too dangerous to follow up this idea (especially planetside staff - I think you could have experinces with Paramount studios) ??? -- I heard that copyright violation is punished more severely than murder  :o

Thanks Kadri - until now I only knew the info from the planetside-homepage.
Nice "making of"!

Unfortunately not so helpful for legal aspects.

Parody isn't a problem in USA so far i know.

Unless it is a one hundred percent exact duplication, i would not worry about it. I do not think anyone has ownership of a mountain peak, the name paraduck let alone a ring of ducks.    ;D

That makes me hopeful  ;D

And THAT really gives me the security that no one will claim the name:

Thinking about it, I perhaps better change the name - I don't really like the sense...  :o

Just seen this! excellent pic!

Parody actually has some legal protection in the US, so I think you're probably safe. I'm not sure about the local laws of your country though.

You also may have some problems with the sex toy industry.  ;D

;D I did not really think about flying sextoys  ;D

But whatever they are - The coreografie of 12 ducks is outrageously hard...
Moving the ducks to respond to instruction is like herding children  ;)

But I think I will get an acceptable animation finally.
even the ducks in the lake will move their heads (theoretically I'd even hammer out a wagging tail - but I think that's too much and will not be recognized anyway)

Here is a test frame (frame 133 of 600 - I must do some samples and also render a test animation with only 500x250 pix)

You're an extraordinary guy! I really like the stuff you're doing.

This should be interesting.    8)
