I am happy to learn that you can buy5-6 foot trees that have already been grafted. Haven't found any for sale that have 40 varieties of fruit. But you can get a few different ones. Harder for me since I have to be carful about my zone. But I really like this idea. Having just a few trees to get so much different fruit is much easier to care for and clean up the yard.

Not sure about the trees resilience to disease and insects though.

I was curious about that too Oshyan. I did not come across a photo when I was looking for info on the general idea of it.

NO, I know for a fact you can by trees like this, just not seen any with more than 5 fruits. But those trees are all young. to graft 40 would require an older stronger bigger tree.

The one in the OP made national news. Just no photos of it. I guess it took years to do. But then again that is why I am curious about no photos. It should be all over the place

ok here. At least some photos anyway. "I guess tree of 40 fruits" is an art movement more than a single tree.
