Worked on a mountain-side farm as a kid and  learned how to drive on the farmers post-WWII Willy jeep that he'd converted into a flatbed truck.  Image is about 90% done despite a lot of TG crashes on the new rendering system (which seems to have abated since moving the TG database to a different/older box on the network. )

Nice image. I like that it tells a story. High altitude fruit trees!

Which TG "database" are you referring to? For the Library?

Hi Oshyan. Apologies - inaccurate reference to 'database' on my part.  Although all programs are installed on aC:\ drive, the working data files (about 60GB) are kept in separate folder on a D:\ Drive and this is the 'database'  I was referring to.  Had to share D: as a network drive, then map a logical path to it from the new PC (my render box) and from existing PC (where  Blender, Xfrog and a couple other programs to create assets to use in Terragen  ( which is installed on the Render box).  In order for everything to work correctly both PCs need to see identical drive mappings to every asset.  When troubleshooting the app crashes I finally moved my database to a 3rd PC on the network and the crashes seem to have abated.  It's an easier setup to work with in that I can easily set up identical drive mappings from Render box and Asset creation box.  It's a bit slower, but I'm not so quick myself anymore, so it's a workable solution.

Good luck with your "Data Center"  ;)

I like that story telling image too.

Strange that simply moving the data would help. You might try looking in your system logs (Windows logs) to see if there are any data/hard drive related errors in there in the last week or two. The only reason I can imagine that moving the data off local storage would help is if the local storage has intermittent errors of some kind. That could indicate pending drive failure or other issues and the early symptoms can be quite subtle (as a former IT manager I speak from some experience :D).

I really like that jeep. Cool that you made it from a real one that you saw.
It has been eaten.

Final version , I think.  FarmBoy started life as a DAZ product, then clothed in Blender. All foliage is my stuff created in xFrog and Blender, except for the apple trees which were originally xFrog peach trees, then reworked and shaped to apple trees.  This is one of my few images that was planned out - wanted FarmBoy momentarily turning his back on the drudgery of apple-picking while contemplating a lone hawk flying high and untouchable on a late summer morning.

Dune

Very cool render, I like it. Great mood and sense of enormous space.

This is very cool! I like the sandy looking ground. Great stuff!

Just nice, very very nice. And my respect to you for all that detail work!
