Buying Terragen

I remember Planetside running a discount on Terragen sometime last year. I'm not anticipating doing any commercial work with it anytime soon, I'm in the hobbyist stage at present, but having to buy a full license is tough enough that any discount is very welcome. I think I'm finally getting close to at least getting creative + animation and was wondering if anyone thinks Terragen might have a promo to coincide with Siggraph? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy now?

You may know that they do have sales. But I can't say for sure when.
