I was surprised too, Oshyan  :D

When I first saw the huge windows in the first movie I thought they were just a kind of big panorama windows and liked them. That was at VHS video times so I never had any doubt for a long time.

Just a graphical overview I found in the web. Here it's described as a botanical garden.

I just added the link - hope it works.

Also I don't remember any film with a scene there. Only later in TNG and DS9 some scenes used a kind of arboretum or botanical garden.

I found out this detail when I examined the model but just these days I decided to work out illumination and textures for the close up.

There are unbelievable details in the model... I love it more and more!

Otakar, I want to be 40 years younger now! Immedately! Then I would buy that thingy!
(Perhaps I'll do anyway  ;) ;D )

Oshyan

Oh wow, so it's not one of your humorous additions! Very cool. I learned something new today. :)

No Oshyan, no humorous addition - not this time  ;D

But I am shocked how good you know me...  ;)
In fact yesterday and today I still planned to add a few garden furniture exactly here:

But that was just too much - and much too silly - even for me!  ;)

Oshyan

Aww, I am disappointed that you did not. ;)

Some conflicting info, but very justifiable I'd say: http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Arboretum

Agura Nata

Yes a Aboretum is a must be, smile  ;) ;)

Dune

Great. Must be awkward for the trees to lift off (how many G's?). And beware of branches and roots poking through the hull  :o

You never should have said this, dear Oshyan... that caused a kind of creative explosion in my brain...

After the A_Team has destroyed the Enterprise Hangar - someone must care about the damage. Welcome the Security:
(Rescue Fire Truck bought on cgtrader from q_dree - many details like the rubbish by Tim Yoon or the washing machine by by Tom Blake for free from archive3D.net)

When all the allies arrive at the station - one vessel cant start it's engines... The JJ-Version of the Enterprise!
I can't tell the reason now - only that the whole film is some seconds longer now :)  thanks Oshyan ;)

Some other scenes I started, don't belong here into the drydock -- You will find them in the alien queen post soon  8)

Hey Doc, you and Kadri ought to develop a project together. Just watched his movie and wow...you two could do a mind blowing film unless I miss my guess.
