The old inadequate xp Dell laptop that I was using went to lunch and never came back...  :o
Was in the process of backing up projects and such, so didn't lose everything.
Acquired a newer Intel Win7 laptop as a replacement. Have been reinstalling all my graphics packages.
Posted result from benchmark test. Looks like I'm "in there".  8)

Not as "in there" as thought. TG crashes on population. Investigated situation a bit further, the "graphics" part of this laptop is quite inadequate. Can do much more than previous unit. Oh well...  acquired this unit for very little $, so I can't complain.    ...too much.  :P

Fortunately TG does not really need graphics power. Just a bit for the 3d preview but even a low end gpu can do that. Most probably the crash happen 'coz the old gpu driver or something...check it out as it might be easy to handle. Then u can have the power of the i7...why not?

Yeah, it may have been the drivers or something else. I run TG on a slave machine with 64mb integrated video memory from 2001. So, yeah. Lol
