Courious how it will look like. I just like your landscapes 


The haze in the forground (between the pond and the left end of the image) is absolutely great - the one in the left top seems a bit too dense? What do you think?

Yes, it is, but getting this haze distribution was already hard (lot of seeds tried out). I may try another few or mask them by hand. On the other hand; sometimes you have these thick walls of mist, whereas other parts are already dissolved by rising sun. Only lately (this is a besides) an elderly couple (in a small car) was squashed between two trucks because the army where playing with smoke pots on a very moist/hazy morning. The smoke intensified the mist locally, hence a head-tail collision. So, it might be the 15th century army in the distance

Fussy folks...what were they expecting in the monastery...other than segregated sleeping areas? Seems like a chapel and a living area and they'd need one for men(Monks) and one for women(Nuns)

all of these little roads are created with terragen? or you had base modeling in other 3d application ?

It's all based on greyscale maps drawn in Photoshop, Majid. Imported as image map shaders and used as masks for different parts.

Update with the new monastery. Too bad you can't look inside, there's more to it than you can see from this angle. Sorry about the pixelized areas, but otherwise I can't post this size. It's of no use to anyone anyway.
Still work to do though. I think I'll add some 'real' grass all over the fields, instead of mere displacement. This will be billboard size, so it's worth it.

I wondered about the pixelation - noticed the distant pond/lake first... Thought my eyes had gone!
