Skeleton bay forest

This is just a  lighting practice on a scene I made on the weekend. Not much to say about it, its a forest...

Test or not I like it

I really like the soft misty setting to your scene and the coloring. The atmosphere samples seem low and adding some displacement to your bark will make it stand out better. Maybe focus the light some more. The grass is very neat, like a mossy carpet.

I like it too, it has a mysterious mood, like something light is descending or shining on this particular area. Maybe some blossoming tree or shrub or flowers would be neat to add, as  point of interest in front somewhere.

A mix of bluish and white blossoms mixed with the grass could make it pop. There is a bluish light so the color of the blossoms could compliment the color theme well.

I agree with some white flowers and perhaps one or the other fern.
But in fact I like the simplicity and the peaceful mood as it is.

I'd be happy with it as it is; but the trees do need some displacement on the trunks and with Force Displacement would rock.

This is really nice, I'm trying to figure out if that's grass for ground cover or bushes.

It looks like very high density grass to me.

Thank you to all that commented, I should be able to make one last render before Christmas  with modification on this scene.

Chris and WASasquatch, to get this ground i did place very high density of grass and i changed the hight of the grass to make it look abit more natural.  I also added rocks under the grass to give this population  a high.

Bobby, I also do think that it would be good to have more displacement it is something I will work on for the next render of the scene.

Dune and Doc, I am still not sure i want to add more into the scene kinda scared it would make it to busy with to much detail so the eyes will have no place to rest.

If you are uncertain about the scene being to busy and would rather take a minimalist approach then by all means keep it the way it is. Just alter what else you may have in mind. Sometimes minimal can be good.
