Has anyone tried doing splashes or water spray in terragen with their waves? Is it possible?

similar to this I'd imagine...I'd suggest bit maps for displace and maybe even colour.

So, more something to be seen from a distance?

Displace a displaceable object into splash like shape, then set as invisible and populate with small spheroids.
Might be tedious, but could work for limited areas with some work on the shapes.

A crude example.

That's not bad actually. Should have thought about that. I had advise on this same approach for bubbles when I thought I had a chance to use terragen + animation.
