Here are some ground objects I came across today. I've been trying to find a good clover patch but failed. Did find these. If anyone has a clover patch (like the one from CGRealm which is now gone) that would be awesome!

well the cgtrader is a non starter as I'd have to like 20 items a day for a week before I could even download anything there if I grok their rules...a most frustrating site. Care to share here as a .tgo? Is that allowed...some sites allow conversion to formats they don't supply.

I have been working on a Clover patch but it is still a work in progress for now.

Sure starting to look good, just maybe some more variance in the texturing. I could help? I like it so far. It's sad that people are selling a solid object for 25 bucks. And even worse for more, or less. You'd think this would be one you could find at free at decent quality. There was one at CGRealm but the site is gone now.

The only issue I am having with converting is they supply DDS, and GMF textures. Both of which Poseray refuses to load.

Haven't used IrfanView in ages. Used to make plugins for it by randomly doing crap lol Not my only issue is I have to make custom opacity maps as these are still LOD objects based on props. Just did this with a pack of "garbage" someone at xfrog gave me, but the edges of these objects were a lot more solid. Objects they never finished in raw format with textures unfinished. I'll have to use a combination of Eraser Genuine (plugin for old photoshop) and cutting to create the opacity maps for correct opacity and transparency... now to find my Adobe Photoshop CS....

I created a group of Clovers and will share these soon.

cool, a good mixer for both prairie grass and lawn grass.

Looks great! As Bobby said, perfect mixer. Just what I've been needing. Easy adding lots of grass, but weed objects aren't too easy to come by in a appealing appearance without a price tag.

AP

I will see what i can do about the weeds.

Last post until i finalize with some texture corrections. I added scattered grass to the mix but can remove it if it is an issue. Due to the high density and no collision detection there will be some poke throughs, however the idea is not to render these so close but more as a ground cover solution.

Looks beautiful! Maybe a little less bump on the inner leaflet ring? Not sure if it even should have any, but be a colour variation? Not sure though I couldn't find any outside at the moment but did find this.

I could be entirely wrong, with so many species, there could in fact be beveled leaflets like the vein segments.

The following could even help with texturing, was labeled on Google Free for Commercial use.

AP

Finished. Now where to host it?

WAS

Sure does look beautiful, the soft rolling with the lead angle variation is lovely.

As for hosting it, I'm not sure. I believe Mediafire/Dropbox allows you to make it private unless they have the link in case you are worried about bots finding it or people that snoop cloud libraries to download stuff.

It's probably not very big, so you could just post a zip on file sharing...
