First look for me, nothing special. I've got to say I love this plugin. Thanks a lot Daniil! Hopefully the Surface Layer masking issue can be resolved.

AP

Almost Dolomite-like features. I could see it going in that direction maybe.

Dune

I like this. Very nice juxtaposition of rugged and smooth.

For a first look it's a great look. I love the rugged and smooth variation.

I like the idea here a lot, it worked very good too. Would be worth refining and rendering really high quality to me.

Thanks guys, if you think it's worthwhile I'll continue on this. And the Dolomites btw are some of my favorite mountains, although I just went for it here without a specifc real life model in mind.

Given the opportunity, i would visit the Dolomite's in a New York minute.

An update. Higher res (and better quality) will come later. Still need some texture work.

Gets better and better.

Perhaps something on the maedow on the left side hill to break it up a bit? I am not sure what would be better: Fractal breakup and just bare rock beneath or some vegetation like bushes and rocks.

AP

Definitely could use some rocks in there and some additional vegetation. You could use the Erosion shader masks to isolate some rocks and maybe a tiny water stream in there.

Moving along nicely....some fakestone work on the low slopes would be nice.

And not to pile on the work load. But I would very much like to see this exact same stuff in another image but where the rock outcrops are much smaller, say about a building to a man's height.

I always have problems getting large scale stuff that looks nice down in scale and have it still look nice. Always find it much easier to get good effects on large/huge scale than small.
