Voyager

I needed to take a break from a couple of projects that I just don't seem to be able to make any progress on, so I thought I would try this .........


While the nebula is most probably not in the "Delta Quadrant" and the planet - I just added some colors from Geoglyph and World Machine.


The model of Voyager I found for free by doing a Google search for Voyager.obj.


I would have to say this is still just a work in progress, and I would appreciate any constructive criticism.  Thanks for looking - Jerry

Pretty cool... and colorful. One thing I thought of; adding some reflected warm light onto the underside of the voyager.

Nice.

Integrating background images is sometimes hard.
The quality of the space photo(this is a photo i think?) and the crisp foreground render quality are so different it  always stands out if you don't change one of the two.
In your image the background image does have kind of a chromatic aberration (our friends here around with more photographic knowledge could say more probably) that is absent in the foreground.
It might be a resolution difference too ...
The foreground looks clear but the background blurry etc.
So it is the best to choose the right image and-or preparing it to your needs.

I especially erase the stars so much i can and put some later in. For me they are the most giveaways.

Agree w/Kadri on the BG image, too low res IMO. I'd look for a higher res version as it's a fine image. Dune's underside light idea is also a gooder

The celestial body certainly looks quite oxidized, a lot of nice colors. It also reminds me of those art sand toys.

Nice, but something about the model just makes it look like an mininature model in my eyes. Perhaps it's its color.
