An interesting concept no doubt but I think the clouds are a little noisy.

You should keep this going. Turn those colors a bit green, and its possible it could be used for medium to distant "foliage".

They do look a little bit noisy, but I think that the detail you're achieving here is awesome.

I agree with moodflow. But still..... they are really cool. What cloud type did you use here?

This is not meant to be offensive, but it reminds me of a microscopic view of cloth or cotton I once saw. This is interesting, though.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

I guess this is how it looks when the clouds suddenly fell down onto the ground

Ya know.... these would look GREAT integrated into an ocean scene with crashing waves.
Some of the closer bits look like churned up surf, yes?
Very nice effect.

If you could focus them over a volcano, say Mt Saint Helens it is the perfect consistency for an ash cloud.
You wouldn't happen to have the settings (.tgc) handy would you?

Cool, seems you turned the haze down a lot.
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

Thanks for all the comments. Here is the .tgd of this scene. Nothing has been changed from the default settings except for the cloud layer. What I was attempting (and successfully so even if I do say so myself) was to create multiple scales of clouds within one cloud layer.
Will: the haze is set at the default of 4. The atmosphere is just very blue because the camera is set at around 25000 meters.

It's perfect for the giant gas planets like Jupiter with all those dense clouds. It also reminds me one picture I once saw in the Carl Sagan's book Cosmos.
