Long time has passed since the last time I touch Terragen. In all things that I leave pending, there
was a scene in the archipelago of Hawaii, and nothing better than the VR contest to finish it
here is my first test in the big island, looking for a good location , (next one in Oahu):
Hmmm, what version of Terragen does God use?

Ariel DK

here is the second location in Oahu, western beach.
I think that I will go with this. I added some fast coral formations
this view is magical when you see in VR

PD: sorry for the poor quality :D

Nice and crisp, I bet it looks awesome in glasses. I guess the white area is beach, but then I miss some transition between the water and the beach. Usually you have some wet part, either soft or really hard (at flood coming up), some debris (a lot or very subtle), and some foam (a lot or little). I would add that.

Great potential there for certain. Those ideas for the beach as good ones.

these are looking great... still time to perfect!

I like the concept of the first picture. The second has beautiful color but the junction of the water and the beach needs to be reworked.

thanks to all you guys.

Unfortunately, I live in a place that suffers many electrical blackouts, and I lost a lot of progress in the second scene.
It's a shame. on time or not, I will finish the scene anyway. I'll be updating this thread tomorrow.

wish me good luck hehe...

Nice WIP. Loosing work sucks. Luckily we all have more time now.

Have you considered investing in a battery back up Universal Power Supply device?

@Kadri
I agree without any doubt :D

@Chris
I have not researched it yet, what is it?. blackouts are only at this time of year, when strong southerly winds begin to blow (winter, south hemisphere)

@bobbystahr
The deadline is extended until 11 April: not whether to laugh or mourn, what I know is that I must finish this as soon as possible.

Thanks for the link Chris, I started looking at local stores.

Guided by the critiques, I am tweaking the beach-water transition, and my sand shader.

Opinions please. 8)

thanks. I'm trying to give the sand, a more wet aspect.
now it is when I regret never having played with the Glass Shader before :'(
