Improve texture.

Is it possible to make a poor texture in better quality?
For example with the layer surfaces and change the colors?

You'd have to do that in an external app, like photoshop, I guess. But in TG you can add extra colors and displacements, of course to get more detail into the image. Or you could derive some masks from it (in photoshop or tg), and use those to drive certain colors and displacements in darker, or lighter, greener or redder areas....

good tricks but bear in mind it's a download from the net and not likely good for anything but distance renders...I know...tried and wound up making my own maps from scratch which were still pretty crappy so I binned the project. I would really like to get some High Resolution shots of fields though if anyone reading this has any links.
