???

In my library window all thumbnails of the scene icons are turned upside down!
I'm not so familiar with Terragen, but for me it seems that something is wrong?

Maybe this error is known, but for me it is new, due to the fact that I'm just recently started with Terragen...

I'm working on a PC with Windows 7 and operating the latest version TG 3.4

That's very strange, I've never seen that before! Try going to Preferences, Library, and then try Clear Previews...

Yes it is a strange problem Oshyan!

As you recommended, I deleted the Library Previews and made a reboot afterwards.
Unfortunately, nothing changed... See attachment...

Any Idea?
Any Solution?

Dune

Doesn't even look like you live downunder.... then I could understand.

Stormlord

Now I tried it on my old emergency system which runs under my old Windows XP.
I installed Terragen 3.4 , It's the same here... I really cannot believe this !?!

I have no idea, what else I could do???

Incredibly strange that it's happening even on different operating systems! What language do you have set in operating system settings?

jo

Hi,

Is this only happening for projects? Are these your own projects that you're adding previews to? If so, how are you doing that?

Regards,

Jo

@Oshyan
I know that this sounds really strange, but it is true!
The same misterios behaviour happens also on my old Windows XP Emergency system???
The Language is set to German in both Systems.
I operate Windows XP with Service Pack 2.
Windows 7 Ultimate with 64-Bit, Language German, see the screenshot from my current Win7 operating system.

I create the preview for the Library this way.

1. Create and rendering a scene.
2. Click in the Render Window on the icon (Click to make this render the preview for the current project)
3. Save the file

4. Watch the Library and wondering what has happened???

As jo had the initial idea, allow me to mention, that a .tgo object is correctly viewed in the Library Preview.
I put the old pine from Wallies Plant Pack1 into the Library and Voila, everything is ok?????

@jo
Very good idea! I tested it. I merged the tree "Old Pine.tgo" from Wallis Plant Pack 1 into the standard scene.
I rendered the scene, save the picture via icon (click to make this render the preveiew cion for the current project) and finally saved the scene file.
You're right, there is a difference. Objects are correctly rendered as Library Preview Thumbnail.

@Dune

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.
