This is a test to see if bloom and starburst work when the light source id obstructed. Happy to see they do.
This is the Sibernik Cathedral and the coloured rose window has separate objects for each colour, and they're all glass.

Looks good.
Is it hard to get the look in interiors? I haven't tried any Bobby.

It is nice to see other uses of these effects. I think if a light source is strong enough that the effects will show no matter the obstruction, however I ponder how small the opening to allow the light in can be? I am curious as to why the light rays coming from the colored glass are not representative of the glass color?

Lack of caustics I suspect...was hoping light caustics would be part of 4 but still waiting. Have you successfully gotten coloured light thru coloured glass that wasn't using colour in the actual light....I haven't tested that deep yet?

In the case of the colored light rays, I thought it was something other then caustics. I can not find the description or term. There is a post from an older Unreal Engine forum that discusses the challenge of trying to create those colored light rays.

As far as trying to attempt this myself, not yet but I could look into this.

Inspired to run some tests I'll have to say no and it I think is tied to the fact you need Cast Shadows turned off to do glass...that's what needs solving...along with greyscale transparency which I suspect may be tied to the problemhere.

Depends, on darker ones like this the Ambient Occlusion turned up to 3 in the GI tabs helps lots and I always add 2 in Global Illumination in the Lighting tab...(Hannes will be pleased)

I do recall that was discussed in another thread. All the same it still looks nice is spite of the colors lacking.
