Here's another file to dissect. Completely different from Mick's setup and not perfect, but you guys might gain some insight out of it. Renders well within the hour on my system, even with clouds and soft shadows. Without, it's 25 mins or so.

May i have a suggestion to all file sharers ?
Would be nice if you put your names in the files too.
After a time which file was from who is lost. I very seldom use others files.
But if i use someones file i want to mention him too.

Good idea Kadri, just changed it in the first post. Here's another, slightly adjusted file with the free edition (without the trees, I'm afraid). Some small changes in one or two nodes for a very different effect, but still just to get some ideas, it's not perfect.

Just disable almost all nodes from the bottom up to almost the start, then see what happens if you enabled each node going down from the top again, and you get an idea what each level does. It's not THAT complicated, just maybe looks that way, because it isn't very organized.

dandelO's device is the  packing a lot of blue nodes inside a  single node.
Gets a better overview of the functions imbedded in the node.

(I know than dandelO is not the inventor of this, sorry but it is nice to have to have a name)
