This is the file of my Mandelbulb object for Rust / Stone with the two textures for the image shaders, hope it works  :D

The projection you have to adjust!

Please, can you explain in more detail how it is possible to get an object out from mandelbulb and then transfer it into Terragen ?
I just downloaded mandelbulb and try to export some data, but I don't know how to export and import it into TG.

I watched a couple tutorials by Don Whitaker. I have not tried it or done it, but he explains about using Photofly imagery to produce the necessities for making a 3D mesh,
in YouTube tutorial here

Just for the record, the latest mandelbulb3d version has a mesh generation/export
feature. Easy to use, but generates no mtl files.

Guess that's what ZBrush is for...seems I've heard of folks using them in concert....

Procedural shading in TG is possible.
Only if you want to separate parts of the geometry or assign different
materials to parts you'd need another prog to do that. Blender, meshlab,
in some cases maybe even poseray, wings3d(64bit)occasionally,daz studio?
or any commercial package that's capable of handling pretty large meshes.

That was my thought. If the parts are seperable I can split the model up in Deep Exploration and then texture them on PoseRay.

You need Mandelbulb 1.91 then it is recommended to read the description to export.
But it takes some days until I understand rs, man must try a lot and must not lose the patience my friend

You can import the Wavefront OBJ directly into TG.

I put in Blender the materials with names and UV maps
