using some experimental cracking functions and some small perlin noise functions on the surface of the rocks. Because the larger perlin shapes change orientation roughly similar to the size of the medium stones the ridges take on different angles on different individual rocks. Small strata can be used on fake stones but typically produce the same angle on every stone unless merging or masking several in patches.
