Snow Day

A doodle really ... we had a flake or two yesterday, typical British pathetic attempt at show. Still it inspired me to this

Early crocuses poking through a late heavy fall of snow lit by the evening sun.

Flowers from Xfrog, trees Speedtree.

Snow is a small snowflake model, done like the sand grains.

My oh my, a snow picture I don't just click away from. This is the 'warmest' snow pic I've seen in a loooong time, well done Richard.
The grain sized snowflake works a charm, will have to pop into Imagine and make me one. At that size you never notice that they're not all different, heh heh. Bad joke but they slip out so I leave em in.

That looks beautiful! The snowflakes look great! However I'd mask them by a distance shader to let them fade out to a smoother surface. Just a thought...
