Test Run on the River

First test of Dune's lovely River Project. Fairly complex node network to navigate but was a good learning experience. Not terribly high res bit a WIP as I haven't changed anything yet....C&C welcome.

That's a really good start. I especially like the grass. The trees seem to be a little dark and the tarmac could have some more variation. Maybe you could also put some more variation in the verges of the road - or maybe even remove them completely.

Echo Rumburak. I would also increase the width of the road, or perhaps better; slide the color adjust that goes into the grass pop such that less grass is on the road (test with the last surface layer). And perhaps in crease the altitude of the reflection on the mud by 10cm or so. In this case it would be nice if the sand/mudbanks show a little reflection.
And try some reseeding of the warper PF, guys! Lots of river variations there.

But I like the subtle sand dunes shining through the grass.

I guess the first try is just to get used to the node setup itself. At least in my case it has been that way.

Great start. I like what you are doing with your current there, mimic swift water. Good one!

Yeah, I screwed up on the grass masking, thanks for the tip Ulco. Reseeding is for the Bobby Exploration period. So far just looking around at what you've built and it's quite amazing. Having a bit of a time finding some stuff but it just takes time and well, I am retired so have an excess of that....heh heh.  Until I re read the .pdf I was a bit confused by the test layer but now will be including one in my projects...saves a lot of time.
