Documentation on atmospheres and clouds
December 26, 2016, 03:29:26 AM
Hello,
Is there documentation on how to use atmospheres and clouds? what each parameter does with examples?
The online documentation (from help menu) doesn't seem to have it and relates to Terragen 2.
Thank you

Welcome to the forum!
I realise it's still missing information, but a user by the name of Russe166 added lots of example renders to the Planet Atmosphere documentation which applies equally to Terragen 2, 3 and 4:
http://www.planetside.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Planet_Atmosphere
Also to the page for Cloud Layer V2:
http://www.planetside.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Cloud_Layer_v2
This page isn't linked to from the new nodes Cloud Layer V3 or Easy Cloud, but many of the principles of Cloud Layer V2 apply to Cloud Layer V3 and Easy Cloud. We haven't documented the new light scattering capabilities or Easy Cloud options yet.
