Scaled up the original displace and just a different POV and color on original.

Same file share, new seed and scale on displacements. I may try this one underwater.

The last one is quite impressive. You made big improvements in creating the ground.

Dune

Yes, it's a good one to build upon. Perhaps a bit more light/contrast and more subtle patches of grass/rocks.

mhaze

Nice work - good to see someone experimenting further.

Thank you all for those kind remarks. I will keep fiddling with this setup for awhile yet.

Here I definitely got that plastic look on the water-cloud-fractal layering. Might be too crisp. But I like that the sun picked up the specular on the leaf.

Another try at it.

Dune

That looks pretty good. If you raise the camera a bit so you can look over the little front hill and add some good shrub/trees and grass, it can be very nice.

'As Dune says' is always good advice. Very nice and you've come a long way on surfaces....liking this a lot.

Thank you!

Wish I could take credit, but I get lots of help and ideas. I take the recipe and cook what I can, haha.
Just learned how to create a group and clip for mhaze's big fake stone group, now to apply it and some other ideas.
